The Detroit Pistons have now lost 18 consecutive games, the longest losing streak in the NBA since the 2020-21 Houston Rockets lost 20 straight. With a tough schedule ahead, the Pistons could challenge the NBA record for consecutive losses of 28, set by the 2013 Philadelphia 76ers.

Detroit Pistons’ Losing Streak Reaches 18 Games, Longest Since 2020-21

The Pistons’ young roster is still developing, and they have been facing some of the top teams in the Eastern Conference. However, their losing streak is starting to raise concerns about their ability to compete in the NBA.

The Pistons’ next winnable game is on December 18 against the Atlanta Hawks, who currently have a losing record. If they are able to snap their streak before then, it will be a major accomplishment. However, if they continue to lose, they could end up with one of the worst records in the NBA.
