The wait is over! The highly anticipated Tesla Model 3 (codenamed “Highlander”) has finally arrived in North America. Following a successful debut in Europe, the refreshed electric vehicle is now available in the U.S., Canada and Mexico, energizing the market with its sustainable performance and sleek design.

Tesla’s refreshed Model 3 enters North America

Charge up your options:

Similar to the European version, the North American Model 3 offers two powertrain options. The base rear-wheel drive model has an EPA-estimated range of 272 miles and starts at $38,990. And for those who want to go even farther, the dual-motor, all-wheel-drive, long-range version priced at $45,990 can travel up to 341 miles on a single charge. While news of performance versions such as the “Sport” or “Ludicrous” models are still being quietly rumored, Tesla fans can expect more exciting developments as the Model 3 continues to evolve.

Upgrades to look forward to:

The upgraded Model 3 is more than just cosmetic changes. The Long Range version has an additional 8 miles of advertised range, while the price remains the same. Lease options starting at $329 per month add further perks. Deliveries of Tesla cars will begin in January or February, and orders are currently being taken on their website. Note, however, that unlike the previous Model 3 Performance, the upgraded Model 3 is not currently eligible for the $7,500 U.S. tax credit.

Streamlined design for enhanced comfort:

Externally, the Model 3 exudes sophistication and modernity with a redesigned front fascia, integrated fog lights and indicators, and new single-piece taillights. Inside, LED ambient light bands bathe the cabin in a warm glow, and a new 8-inch rear display controls air conditioning, ventilation and infotainment. The front 15.4-inch display is the same size, but with thinner bezels and a sleeker look. In addition, buttons on the steering wheel replace the column-mounted lever, adding a new element to the driving experience.

In addition to aesthetics, the revised Model 3 prioritizes comfort and handling. Improved acoustics and suspension geometry ensure a smoother, more comfortable ride. Canadian and Mexican customers can rejoice, as they will enjoy the same features and delivery times as U.S. customers.

With the launch of Model 3 in North America, Tesla isn’t just delivering a car, it’s making a statement. Proving that sustainability and driving pleasure can go hand in hand, this sleek, high-performance electric vehicle is paving the way for a future where environmentally conscious drivers truly have it all.
